International Freight Services, Inc. has been in business since 1971.  We provide Door-to-Door, full-service logistics.  We have a full range of services while still giving our clients personalized attention. 
 
Facilities
Our office and warehouse are located one mile from San Francisco International Airport. We have over 7,000 square feet of office and warehouse space.  We have further access to over 50,000 square feet of warehouse space, when required.
 
Messenger Services
We maintain daily messenger service to downtown San Francisco and the East Bay to   expedite document transfer, bank business and U.S. Custom’s clearances.  Local messenger service to and from San Francisco Airport/U.S. Customs is provided by our own employee, who personally expedites your documentation.  Maintaining our own in- house messenger, rather than relying on a messenger service, greatly facilitates the speed of your clearances and ensures the best turn around time possible.
 
Personnel

Our staff includes twenty experienced professionals to serve you.  Most of our associates have been with IFS for more than five years, some for over twenty years.
 

Export Department

  • Paul Ambler, Export Manager, has been in this department since 1976.  Paul has strong expertise in export licensing and consolidations.

  • Rick Di Maio has been with IFS since 1989.

Import Department

  • William Tinney, Import Manager has over twenty years experience in all phases of U.S. Customs regulations.  Bill has been with IFS since 1986.

  • Anne Dungca, Ocean Import Supervisor has been with IFS since 1991.

Domestic Department

  • Carolyn Colbert, Domestic Manager, has over twenty years experience and has been with IFS since 1995.

Project Traffic

  • Achim Biller has over 30 years experience in project traffic, including export documentation, packing, crating and hazardous material/dangerous goods handling.

Administrator

  • Sonia Molo has over 20 years experience in the transportation industry and has knowledge of shipping household goods and personal effects shipments.

Special projects are implemented by Joe Di Maio, President of IFS.  Joe has over 35 years experience in all phases of transportation.
